‘The Greatest Stories Ever Told’ is an exploration into the stories behind the making of the world’s most famous and loved movies. The storylines are larger than life; the characters are wild and exotic while the special effects will blow your mind. And that is just the making of these films.

Ever film has a story to tell. These films have back-stories and on set mayhem that have sometimes proven more fascinating than the on screen storyline.

‘The Greatest Stories Ever Told’ will explore the weird and wonderful world of movie making through the decades, examining the lengths that filmmakers will go to for their art.

These documentaries will feature music from the film soundtracks, clips of famous scenes, interview snippets and a complete guide to the production problems that made shooting the pictures stories in themselves.

Adventures in the Irish Screen Trade

Originally broadcast on Lyric Fm, 'Adventures in the Irish Screen Trade' was the 75th programme in the award winning Artszone slot. The programme examines in detail the workings of the Irish film industry. It focuses in on Conor McPherson's film 'saltwater' an examines the production team and their role within the industry.

This fascinating documentary gets to the heart of the film industry, examining financial issues, script development, working on set, and the role of distribution at home and abroad.
