The Edge of Europe

This historical documentary traces the story of early Christian monks who lived, worked and worshipped on the magnificent Skellig Islands off the coast of Kerry, Ireland.

This fascinating story of human endurance follows the journey taken by these men, from the wind
swept cliffs of Cill-Rellig, the picturesque isolation of Church Island in Waterville, the settlements
of Ballinskelligs, to the ultimate edge of Europe, Skellig Michael.

The Edge of Europe is presented by Kerry-born poet Paddy Bushe and features the music of Noirin
Ni Rian and the monks of Glenstal Abbey. To order your copy click on the link bellow.

Clearing the Ground

Landmines continue to ravage the communities of war torn countries such the Lebanon and the former Yugoslavia. This hard hitting documentary focuses on the need for safe and practical landmine clearing devices.

The Heartland Group have developed a mechanical mining clearing device which they claim can clear mines up to a thousand times faster than work by hand, and at a fraction of the cost. However, this is a concept strongly contested by several organisations on the ground.

On screen contributors include the Mines Advisory Group, UN Forces in the Lebanon and Edinburgh University.
